Lanka Commodity Trading takes their Next step in Sri Lanka

Lanka Commodity Trading, the Sri Lankan division of Expo Commodities Global – a world leading specialist in the supply chain of spices takes their next step in Sri Lanka.

Cinnamon which is one of Sri Lanka’s most valued exports is one of the many commodities that the group strive to be leaders in. Currently ranked No. 6 in Sri Lanka for Non premium Cinnamon exports out of Sri Lanka and No. 10 in premium exports. The new facility will be the staging ground for their next greatest feat – to become the number 1 Exporter of all Cinnamon products out of Sri Lanka.

The new facility is over 15,000 square feet adopting some of the industries leading practices when it comes to the storage, processing and packing of Cinnamon.

The facility was officially declared open by Mr. Sattar Kassim – Director of Aberdeen Holdings. Mr. Hassan Kassim – Group COO – Aberdeen Holdings, Mr. Abdullah Kassim – Director – Aberdeen Holdings, Mr. Azmy Mohideen – COO – Lanka Commodity Holdings and Mr. Inthikab Naufal – CEO – Expo Teas were present at the opening ceremony.

The new project was spearheaded by Mr. Amaan Miflal and his team.
