At Aberdeen Holdings, women inspire progress, innovation, and resilience every day. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, Aberdeen launched a telemedicine initiative under the theme #SheInspiresAtAberdeen, reinforcing its commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of its female workforce.
As part of this initiative, Aberdeen partnered with BIMA Lanka, a trusted leader in digital health solutions, to offer an exclusive Telemedicine Service to all female staff across its 19 subsidiaries. Recognizing that health is a fundamental pillar of empowerment, Aberdeen extended this service not only to its female employees but also to their immediate family members—their spouses and children—for three months, starting from March 8, 2025.
This initiative provides unlimited consultations with qualified doctors over the phone, ensuring immediate and convenient healthcare access whenever needed. Female employees across Aberdeen’s diverse sectors—including aviation, pharmaceuticals, packaging, commodities, transport & logistics, and recycling—can now access medical expertise at any time, without the constraints of travel, waiting times, or additional costs. The service is also available in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, allowing employees to seek medical advice in their preferred language. With a simple verification process using their HR-registered mobile number, accessing healthcare has never been easier.
The #SheInspiresAtAberdeen campaign is more than just a celebration—it’s a movement. Aberdeen believes that empowering women means empowering families, businesses, and communities. By providing easy access to healthcare, the company is reinforcing a culture of well-being, inclusivity, and support. This initiative reflects Aberdeen Holdings’ unwavering belief: “When women thrive, we all rise.” Through innovative policies and impactful initiatives, the company remains dedicated to fostering an environment where women feel valued, supported, and inspired to lead with strength and confidence.
